so you can convince that I am pretty.
Camera Obscura was really charming. I didn’t really feel compelled to eject myself from my seat or anything like that, but I rather blissfully bopped along to their lovely tunes. I was really happy when they played Eighties Fan, and it was a delightful bonus when they covered Super Trouper.
I neglected to mention that on Sunday, we went and attended my cousin’s birthday party at my grandma’s place. He is 3 this year, and he is 23918231 kinds of adorable. I’d walk into the living room with a can of coke, and he’d dash up, point at what I am holding, and go “What’s that!”, in a sort of epiphany not dissimilar to a scientist’s “Eureka!” moment.
My aunt has also imparted her old Leica lenses to me, along with 2 thick photography books. Last night, she informed me that she has since found her old Yashica semi-auto, and that I am welcome to pick it up (and send it for refurbishing so that it can be used -.-) for myself anytime I want. I was seriously touched.
I think that, all things considered, I do love my family a lot, and I am quite regretful of the fact that I don’t see enough of them. I must put in a bit of effort into attending these family things. I feel sort of ashamed when I think that I was thinking of skipping the lunch for no reason at all, until my mum said, “Your por-por is so old already, you should go and see her before there is no time to do so.”
I am eating a tub of Ben and Jerry’s Cheesecake Brownie ice-cream now (it’s a new flavour, I think?). I think I could very well finish the whole tub, but my sister would kill me. I am missing a lot of people right now, and semi-dreading French lessons tomorrow. Good lord.
