The weather’s real cold and all that, but somehow I had the greatest craving for some coke (the cola), and so I went and raided my fridge, and what should I find, but a glorious, large bottle of F&N Orange… which I decided would go perfectly with what’s left of the Absolut Apeach I have stashed in my room. Teehee.

Last night was wonderful. We had Chere’s official farewell dinner thing at Brussel Sprouts, which does the best mussels I have ever had; I must go back and try their tom yam ones someday. Thereafter we went next door to the chocolate bar place to have dessert where I had the pleasure of trying a very exotic-tasting chilli hot chocolate (srsly good to the max). The dessert I ordered, this new fangled concoction called “New World Aztec”, came in the form of a chocolate globe mounted on a glass cone, mounted on a glass bowl. It comes with this small pitcher of hot melted chocolate which you are supposed to drizzle on the chocolate globe, and once you do that, the globe disintegrates into a gooey chocolatey mess to reveal a glorious dollop of chocolate ice-cream inside, with orange zest and orange rind at the bottom. ORGAS ARH!

Anyway, I’m mildly depressed at the thought of all my friends going back (Khin, I is missing you lots), and have thusly been binge eating (woah, my aunt made agar-agar very timelily - I finished half the box she gave us already).

Now that I have properly gotten into Zazen Boys, I am somewhat miffed that I didn’t stay to catch their set at RSR. Their Zazen Boys II album is terrific stuff, real gritty guitars and a fucking sick drummer who goes at it relentlessly. F-ing awesome.

Life’s quite the drag now. I really dislike being in this country, mostly; I just want to go back to Japan and stay there forever and ever and ever and ever and die blissfully from their exorbitant prices.

I suppose I’d better make a list of things to do so I have some purpose in life:

1. Read - Jane Eyre (would you believe it, I haven’t finished it), Possession, Brave New World

2. Watch (half-watched movies) - Rushmore, Taxi Driver, Marie Antoinette (I fell asleep 15 minutes into this, despite my Sofia Coppola love)

3. Frame and hang posters. At the bare minimum, the LiT one.

4. Stop wasting WoW subscription - get lazy arse round to leveling

5. Find things to be happy about in life.
