Just a quick one before I zip out to see if any shops are still open for dinner.

If I have to be on a train once more for more than 30minutes I am going to vomit. I have been on the train all day today; hardcore - 7am to 7pm, from Sapporo to Hakodate, Hakodate to Hachinohe, and then Hachinohe to Ueno station. Was blessed enough to have seats for the first 2 legs of the journey, but not so for the last 3 hours, and thusly had to rely on my luggage to rest my arse on.

The spacebar on Japanese keyboards is too small for comfort.

Okay, Jo I saw the Tokyo Banana thing you were talking about and it looks delicious to the max, so maybe I’ll buy a couple of boxes. Tomorrow, I will bring my luggage back to the hostel, and then take an extremely easy, leisurely walk round downtown Tokyo and do a spot of shopping. I can’t believe I haven’t already visited Harajuku.
